When does man keep Rosh Hashanah vs. when does YaHuWaH, the Creator, the ELoHiYM of the Hebrews say to keep it?We had a question from one of the Codesearcher Apprentices. I thought to answer the question, as I understand the answer and the restoration of the things of the Father.
Here is the Question: As pointed out that the New Year is on Tuesday I have tried looking into it but am confused. Should it be treated as the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashana just on a different date? I.e Tuesday or perhaps Wednesday for me being in a different time zone? Or does it have a different holiday name?
Any light that could help solve this would be appreciated.

Here is my answer this question:
Regarding Rosh Hashanah, and how is keeping it now (at this time of the year) vs. keeping it in the fall different, that article that you shared tells (among other things): “… The term “Rosh Hashanah” in its current meaning does not appear in the Torah….,” and that it is the first feast of the year on the Jewish calendar, and that it coincides with Feast of Trumpets.
So, the Jews, allegedly after their Babylonian captivity, changed the calendar so that Rosh Hashanah. One of the ways that they changed it is that they put the head of the year at the turn of the year, and they aligned it with YoWM T’RuW’AH. I shared the Scripture of Sh’MoWTh (meaning: ‘names’/aka ‘Exodus’) 12:1,2 with you. Also, in WaYiQRA (meaning, ‘And He called,’/aka ‘Leviticus’) chapter 23, where all the feasts of YHWH are given, after sharing about the ShaBaT FIRST, YHWH shares about all the feasts in the order of from the beginning of the month. So, those who do not go by the pure Word of YaHuWaH are off. Those trained up in Judaism are off by six months on when the new year begins. For the christians, they are off by about three months from their celebration of new year’s.
The article goes on to say about Rosh Hashanah:
“Leviticus 23:24 refers to the festival of the first day of the seventh month as “Zikhron Teru’ah” (“[a] memorial [with the] blowing [of horns]”); it is also referred to in the same part of Leviticus as ‘שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן’ (shabbat shabbaton) [which simply means ShaBaT observance] or penultimate Sabbath or meditative rest day, and a “[QoDeSh/sanctified] day to [YaHuWaH ELoHiYM]”. These same words are commonly used in the Psalms to refer to the anointed days. Numbers 29:1 calls the festival Yom Teru’ah, (“Day [of] blowing [the horn]”), and symbolizes a number of subjects, such as the Binding of Isaac whereby a ram was sacrificed instead of Isaac, and the animal sacrifices, including rams, that were to be performed.[2][3]
“The term Rosh Hashanah appears once in the Bible in Ezekiel 40:1 where it means generally the time of the “beginning of the year”…
The article goes on to say in this sentence that Rosh Hashanah “is possibly a reference to Yom Kippur,[2]
“but the phrase may also refer to the Hebrew month of Nisan in the spring, especially in light of Exodus 12:2, Exodus 13:3–4 where the spring month of Aviv, later renamed Nisan, is stated as being “the first month of the year” and
“Ezekiel 45:18 where “the first month” unambiguously refers to Nisan,[4][5] the month of Passover, as made plain by Ezekiel 45:21.[6])” That’s a lot of scriptures to reckon that this first month of ABiYB is the first month of the year, especially given that YaHuWaH told the Hebrews this was the beginning of months for us, the Rosh Hashanah.
“In the Siddur and Machzor Jewish prayer-books Rosh Hashanah is also called “Yom Hazikaron” ([a] day [of] the remembrance), not to be confused with the modern Israeli holiday of the same name which falls in spring.” (This also seems to show an opposite calendar day, and an opposition by the people against the Word of YaHuWaH, from what YaHuWaH calls a day of remembrance at YoWM T’RuW’AH, in the 7th month. So, they have changed a beginning of the months from the spring to the fall, and a fall day of remembrance (YoWM T’RuW’AH, a day of blowing in remembrance) for a day in the spring.)
The Hebrew Rosh Hashanah is etymologically related to the Arabic Ras as-Sanah,
the name chosen by Muslim lawmakers for the Islamic New Year.
Rosh Hashanah marks the start of a new year in the Hebrew calendar (one of four “new year” observances that define various legal “years” for different purposes as explained in the Mishnah and Talmud). It is the new year for people, animals, and legal contracts. The Mishnah also sets this day aside as the new year for calculating calendar years, shmita and yovel [Jubilee] years.” But, that is not consistent with what the Word says about when the Rosh Hashanah begins, and when a year begins, and therefore when a seventh year begins, and therefore when a 50th year begins.
It is important to remember:
- The Jews do not call upon the Name they are commanded to proclaim and to call upon, which is YaHuWaH.
- The Jews do not even regard the sin of calling on G-D, the Babylonian deity of fortune, when YaHuWaH said the speaker who speaks in the name of another mighty one, that same speaker shall die; and
- The Jews use a date for ROSh HaShaNaH that is as far away in the calendar as it can be from the date that YaHuWaH chose.
- These are similar to sins found in the House of Ephraim today:
- The christians do not call upon the Name they were commanded to proclaim and to call upon, which is YaHuWaH.
- They do not regard the sin of calling on G-D, the Babylonian deity of fortune [see Strongs H1408, H1409], when YaHuWaH said the speaker who speaks in the name of another mighty one, that same speaker shall die; and
- They use a date of the month of January, named after the deity, Janus, and if they are going to begin to look at another new year, they generally look to the date known as ROSh haShaNaH by the Jewish calendar, in the fall.
With regard to Rosh Hashanah and every other truth to be restored, we are trying to be obedient to the Word of YHWH and to restore what He has said to do. We have to have a standard for our behavior as to what is good, right, acceptable, and true. And, we throw in our towel with YaHuWaH and His pure Word. The pure word that is the Hebrew, has His Name and His Son’s Name restored, and has an english translation with their names restored so that we can begin to change our language, learn the Hebrew, and learn what YaHuWaH actually said. There is no deity named G-D present in the scriptures, except for the one who was worshipped in idolatry, mentioned in Isaiah (the real name of the book is Y’Sh’AYaHuW/YaHuWaH is salvation)65:11: But you are those who forsake YHWH, who forget My QoDeSh mountain, who prepare a table for G-D, and who fill a drink offering for MeNiY.
He doesn’t tell us in His Word that YoWM T’RuW’AH is any reset of a new year (a Rosh Hashanah). In fact, in WaYiQRA (‘and He called’/aka ‘Leviticus’), He begins the section with in the seventh month…..
Again, from the article first cited, we are told about Karaite Judaism, and what they do with regard to Rosh Hashanah, the head of the year:
“Unlike the denominations of Rabbinical Judaism, Karaite Judaism believes the Jewish New Year starts with the 1st month and celebrate this holiday only as it is mentioned in the Torah, that is as a day of rejoicing and shouting.[14] Additionally, Karaites believe the adoption of “Rosh Hashanah” in place of Yom Teruah “is the result of pagan Babylonian influence upon the Jewish nation.[14]
“The first stage in the transformation was the adoption of the Babylonian month names.
“In the Torah the months are numbered as First Month, Second Month, Third Month, etc (Leviticus 23; Numbers 28).
“During their sojourn in Babylonia our ancestors began to use the pagan Babylonian month names, a fact readily admitted in the Talmud. [14]
“As the Jewish People became more comfortable with the Babylonian month names they became more susceptible to other Babylonian influences.”
How do you change a people? You change their language. You teach them the meanings of the words in your language.
A people taught to change their language, will serve and embrace the deities and ideology of a people, if they have their language changed.
We have seen, in this original article cited in the question, that the Karaites have separated themselves out against the most common beliefs among the Jews, deferring to the Word of YHWH for the rules of their conduct, and going back to the source, and not allowing paganism to seep in, which happens by changing their language and accustoming the people to paganism. Just think how many things are introduced to us in our common lives and era that we, then later, get used to and come to accept readily, as a general population. But, the people of YaHuWaH will need to be like the Karaites in the sense of separating themselves away from lies and traditions that are not truth.
On YoWM T’RuW’AH, which occurs in the 7th month, which occurs in the fall, there is a remembrance of blowing of trumpets. We all have some ‘remembering’ to do. Yes, we must question what all men do in light of what YaHuWaH our ELoHiYM says to do. For christians and previous christians who regard themselves as Hebrews now, we must examine what our christian fathers and mothers in generations past and in ministry from church leadership that have taught us.
For the Jews, it is the same. but what the Jews’ ancestors have taught them, as well. They must examine what their teachers and fathers and mothers in generations past have taught them and measure it, hold it up, to the light of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Word of YaHuWaH. They, also, must break from tradition, and from calling things the Word of ELoHiYM that are not the Word of ELoHiYM…. Because if it’s any kind of a mixture of pagan worship, and it is not purely what YaHuWaH said to do, there’s gonna be a problem with YaHuWaH over it, according to His Word.
For all the children of ABRaHaM (which believe his DNA has made it through the whole world, now), we all have to do the same: search for the truth, then hear and do, trust and obey.
We have to know what His Word says and what it doesn’t say. And then, we have to do it. Passover, for instance, not easter….
TiShReY is one of the words that the Jews have given as a name for the seventh month that is not what it is called in Scriptures, and then they say that BeRAShiYT (which is the very first phrase from the first word in the Hebrew Scriptures, and is translated to ‘in [the] beginning,’ if you scramble the letters, means IN TISHREY. However, TiShReY is not the name of the month in the Hebrew Scriptures. It’s not IN the Hebrew Scriptures.

In summary, there is a Rosh Hashanah. It is NOT in the fall, in the 7th month.
Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of the year, according to the Father YaHuWaH’s Word to us. That date will coincide with Tues., March 28, 2017.
This will be the beginning of the year being called 5777.
We do not actually know what year number this is, but I believe in the bible codes, the Father YaHuWaH is working with the people’s understanding of the year, which will be 5777. Some of the Jewish leadership admits they have lost track of a couple hundred years and then some. That does not have ANYTHING on what the House of Ephraim has lost, in terms of the calendar.
Don’t expect that we are half way through 5777. The majority of those who say they are the Jews, but do not call upon YaHuWaH, nor do they work to restore the 12 tribes to come and serve YaHuWaH in the land, as the whole house of Ya’AQoB. Those people will believe this month coming up is the turn of the year for them (the middle of their year). L’ShaNaH ToWBaH. May you have a good year.
