Frequently, I hear people talk about the Creation Calendar Seventh Day Sabbath as if it is a continual seven day count, and these people almost wholesale believe this day begins on Friday evening and continues until Saturday evening. Saturday sabbatarians will maintain the Creation Calendar Seventh Day Sabbath has been this way, since the beginning of Creation, every seven days, without any break or loss of days…. EVER…..They assume the Jews have never lost any days, and the Jews have kept perfect count of every day. This would imply they believe Adam was also a Jew involved in writing down every day of time since the Creation week. It also implies that Adam took on the job of making sure every day was recorded (by whomever else…..?????) until the legitimate Jews (the tribe of Judah) came on the scene and could take over their precise work of time-recording every seven days.. I used to believe like this, as well. But then, the Father brought more information to me. Will the real Creation Calendar Seventh Day Sabbath please stand up?
DaNiYEL 7:21-28 says this:
21“I was looking, and this horn was fighting against the set-apart ones, and was prevailing against them,
23“This is what he said, ‘The fourth beast is the fourth reign on earth, which is different from all other reigns, and it devours all the earth, tramples it down and crushes it.
24‘And the ten horns are ten sovereigns from this reign. They shall rise, and another shall rise after them, and it is different from the first ones, and it humbles three sovereigns,
26‘But the Judgement shall sit, and they shall take away its rule, to cut off and to destroy, until the end.
28“This is the end of the matter. As for me, Dani’ĕl, my thoughts greatly alarmed me, and my colour changed. And I kept the matter in my heart.”
In 2009, I left the foursquare church I was attending. I felt the Father was calling me out of the church, and that it was time to leave. One of the reasons for this is I caught the pastor teaching something that was not true, yet the Father had impressed upon my heart the truth of the matter. It was over the way the first century assembly (aka ‘church’) conducted itself.
I left the church in July 2009, and I began studying under a self-proclaimed Messianic Jewish prophet. Messianic Jewish means he was Jewish by birth, but came to accept the Messiah, Yeshua as his savior.
I studied under this man’s ministry, including the teaching of his pastor/teacher person, for 18 months. I learned many amazing things I had never really known before. I had not been taught these wondrous teachings from the Scriptures before…. not in sunday school; not in christian college; not in seminary classes. But, I was shown amazing things that actually were in the Word. I had graduate from the King James Bible, and from the NIV translation. Now, I was reading from the Complete Jewish Bible.
I learned how to keep the Jewish understanding that the creation calendar seventh day sabbath began on Friday evening and went through to Saturday evening. And I called on Yah-weh and G-D, and Yeshua and Je-sus, at that time.
Since then, I’ve noticed there seems to be a natural progression in a former christian’s learning, and in coming into more and more truth. After 18 months, and after learning so much, I eventually realized the Father was calling me out from under this Messianic Jewish prophet. So, this translation, and Yah-weh=G-d, and Yeshua=Je-sus and reckoning a Friday night to Saturday night Sabbath as the Creation Calendar Seventh Day Sabbath was the progression level into truth I was operating in at that time. Mr prophet teacher taught me so many amazing things. One of the things is he taught me how to eat kosher. One thing he taught me about eating kosher, however, was a manmade rule. The Jews won’t eat a cheeseburger or a turkey pepperoni and cheese pizza. There is a certain verse in the scriptures they take out of context. My children demanded the truth on, because they wanted to see it in the Word if they could not have a cheese burger. And, that sent me to studying out the truth on the subject. When the Father brought truth to me on this, we went with the truth, not with the tradition of the Jews.
Another thing I went through about this time was believing I had to wear a hair covering on my head if I was married. The Father brought me truth on this, as well.
One day, I saw a teaching posted, which said, “Still think Saturday is the sabbath?” I listened to the teaching and I was so surprised to hear what I had learned. I listened to a few more other teachings. One of them was titled, “If you still think Saturday is the sabbath, here’s 21 scriptures you’ll need to ignore.” Meanwhile, while I was listening to one of these teachings, I heard in my spirit, “Go study fifteen and fifteenth in the scriptures.” It sure seemed it was the voice of the Ruach HaQodesh (aka ‘holy spirit’) that was speaking to my heart, and guiding me to truth.
